BLUM

BLUM reimagines the workplace as a High-Tech Bloom: a non-cubicle floor for IDEO Australia at Level 12 of the Poly Centre. Shou sugi ban runs as a single charred ceiling plane over the whole floor, broken by warm-box exceptions, while drop-cloth textiles and tanned leather thread the zones together. A box-truss grid wall and yellow neon set the tone at reception, and bold red chrome, stainless steel and custom red-thread column art give the floor its pulse. Restraint in the shell, bloom in the detail.
